Silliman is once again the Center of Excellence in Nursing

Good news, Sillimanians! 

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has bestowed the distinction of Center of Excellence in Nursing Education to Silliman University for the fourth time. 

Silliman got the highest rating so far during the recent evaluation conducted by CHED. This was based on the following criteria: 

  • Institutional quality (45%)
  • Instructional quality (5%)  
  • Research and publication (30%)
  • Extension services and linkages (20%) 
And Silliman got a very impressive rating of 95%. 

Congrats, Silliman!

I met fellow Sillimanians from all walks of life, are you proud of us?

Is the motto, “Via, Veritas, Vita”, still intact in the young and fragile minds and hearts of students?

Are Sillimanians still singing exuberantly the Silliman Song?
