Renovation of Silliman’s Luce Auditorium

The Claire Isabel McGill Auditorium underwent a renovation which was initialized last March 17, 2008. Improvements include:

  • New air-conditioning system
  • New chairs
  • Enhanced waterproofing
  • Upgraded fly system

As quoted: “Silliman University, through the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia (UBCHEA), is a recipient of a $390,000 grant from the The Henry Luce Foundation, the same foundation that donated in 1974 the auditorium in honor of Claire Isabel, the wife of its then president, Henry Luce III.

    I could just remember the days when I was a Stage Crew with L.A. and was so proud of it :)
